I'm a general carpenter and handyman specializing in residential projects and servicing areas in the Durham region: Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Oshawa, Pickering, Scugog, Uxbridge, Whitby, including Bowmanville, Newcastle, and Courtice. If you reside outside this area, I can review on a project-by-project basis.
Yes. Tyler Mitchell Construction is a fully-licensed and insured business. I have liability insurance up to $2 million through WSIB. I also have all required safety training including working at heights, CPR, and WHMIS.
Pricing is based on time and materials – a flat hourly rate for labour, plus the cost of materials. I never mark up the price of materials so you know you are getting a fair price. All materials will be purchased by me, unless otherwise agreed upon. Every project is very different, so please get in touch and I can give you a more accurate estimate.
My work is guaranteed for 90 days and in the rare case there’s ever an issue, I’ll return for free to make it right.
To get started, please fill out my contact form. After your quote request, I will review your project details and discuss a start date. All home repair quotes are done through email. Once you've accepted the quote via email, we can set up a time/date for me to come to your home. A deposit of 50% will be required before work begins. When all work is done and you are satisfied with the result, you'll receive a final invoice.
I work 5 days a week, regular business hours 9am– 5pm. If work is required outside these hours please let me know and we can work something out.
